Refund Policy

This policy applies to all travel services arranged by Mystery Travellers. By confirming a booking or making any payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Cancellation by Customer

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to be considered valid.

Cancellation charges will generally apply as follows:

  • 30 days or more before travel date: Up to 10% of total booking cost
  • 15 to 30 days before travel date: Up to 25% of total booking cost
  • 7 to 14 days before travel date: Up to 50% of total booking cost
  • Less than 7 days before travel date or no-show: Up to 100% of total booking cost

Exact cancellation charges may vary depending on hotel, transport providers, seasonal demand, and third-party policies. Final terms will be shared at the time of booking confirmation.

2. Non-Refundable Components

Certain services may be non-refundable once confirmed, including but not limited to:

  • Flight or train tickets (as per airline/railway rules)
  • Visa fees and processing charges
  • Peak season or special event bookings
  • Promotional or discounted packages
  • Any service marked as non-refundable at the time of booking

3. Refund Process

  • Eligible refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original mode of payment
  • Refund timelines generally range between 7 to 14 working days, depending on banks and service providers
  • Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway fees, or third-party deductions may be adjusted

Refunds will be initiated only after confirmation from the respective service providers.

4. Cancellation by Mystery Travellers

Mystery Travellers reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to circumstances such as:

  • Natural disasters or adverse weather conditions
  • Government restrictions or regulatory changes
  • Operational limitations or insufficient participants (for group tours)

In such cases, the following options may be offered:

  • Rescheduling to a future travel date
  • Alternative travel arrangements (subject to availability)
  • Refund (subject to third-party policies and deductions, if applicable)

5. Force Majeure

Mystery Travellers shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions or natural calamities
  • Landslides, road closures, or transport disruptions
  • Strikes, political unrest, or public disturbances
  • Government orders, restrictions, or advisories

Any additional costs arising due to such situations must be borne by the traveller directly.

6. Third-Party Services

Mystery Travellers acts as an intermediary between travellers and service providers such as hotels, airlines, and transport operators.

  • Cancellation and refund policies of these service providers will apply
  • Any penalties or deductions charged by third parties will be borne by the customer
  • Mystery Travellers cannot override or control third-party refund decisions

7. No-Show & Unused Services

  • No refund will be provided for unused services once the journey has started
  • In case of no-show, cancellation charges may be up to 100% of the booking value

8. Policy Updates

Mystery Travellers reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page and will apply prospectively.
